It was held on Saturday, October 24, the inauguration of
“Gagliano A Ruota Libera”
new bike sharing system present in the municipality of Gagliano Castelferrato.
The system includes 3 bicycle stations (for a combined total of 30 stalls) and 24 pedal-assisted mountain bikes that make it very easy to ride all the trails that wind through the municipal area.
The event was included as part of the Prickly Pear Mostarda Festival now in its 21st year.
In the presence of authorities and Mayor Dr. Salvatore Zappulla, the 3 stations placed in the Sant’Antonino, Piazza and Piano Puleo neighborhoods were inaugurated .
A great achievement for the whole community, since it is the first bike – sharing system in the province of Enna.
“Gagliano A Ruota Libera” is part of the youBIKE bike sharing macro project that networks the facilities in Villafranca Tirrena, Tusa, Senorbì, Castellana Sicula, Trappeto, Balestrate and soon Palermo.
