What do the Giro d’Italia and TMR have in common? In addition to the many shared values, together we took part in the event held on Sunday, October 4, in Villafranca Tirrena!
We are really proud to have been able to contribute to Stage 4 of the 2020 Giro d’Italia; our company has always embodied the values of soft mobility with minimal impact on the environment, as well as the most anticipated cycling event of the year.
We took the bikes of our bike-sharing project, Ecobici, on an engaging ride in the location that will be the scene of one of the Sicilian stages of the Giro d’Italia.
Ecobici is the Bike Sharing service of the City of Villafranca Tirrena conceived and designed with our youBike system, co-funded by the Ministry of the Environment of Land and Sea Protection. The pedal-assisted bicycle allows us to offer mobility tools that are good for people and the environment. There are seven stations available today, but we at TMR are always thinking ahead: the service is expanding, with two more stations and many new features on the way.
We celebrated this active and vital project since 2014 with a long and fun ride in the company of residents and enthusiasts. A wonderful celebration of cycling in which TMR was proud to participate as a sponsor.
