The client and the context
The Municipality of Enna, a picturesque city located in the heart of Sicily, has decided to take an important step toward promoting sustainable mobility. With its rich historical and cultural heritage, Enna is a coveted tourist destination and a community that cares about the environment and the quality of life of its citizens.
Enna has chosen to partner with tmr to integrate the bike sharing system called ENbike. This initiative aims to improve urban mobility, reduce the use of private vehicles and promote an active and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

The goal
In 2020, the City of Enna set a goal of providing its citizens with asustainable and accessibletransportation alternative . Through the ENbike project, the municipality aimed to improve urban mobility, reduce pollution, and create a more livable city for both residents and tourists.

The tmr solution
tmr, a leader in sustainable mobility, has been working closely with the City of Enna to implement the bike-sharing system. The old existing transport system was restructured and integrated with the tmr kit, called Alpha Kit, which is specially structured to integrate pre-existing systems.
ENbike has been equipped with seven strategic stations distributed at key points in the city. Each station is specially designed to provide pedal-assisted bicycles, offering citizens a convenient, environmentally friendly and efficient means of transportation.
With a total of 52 electric bicycles available, Enna citizens can enjoy the benefits of sustainable mobility. The bike share stations have been strategically placed to cover the busiest areas and enable easy travel throughout the city.
Using thefree youMove® app, available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store, citizens and tourists can easily book and rent pedal-assisted bicycles, check station availability, and monitor their personal statistics.
